At Jumpstart, you’ll join a national network engaging thousands of college students working with preschool children who need your help…and you just might change some lives—including your own!

Jumpstart Corps Members:

• Serve 8-12 hours per week for a full school year in preschool classrooms right here in Kansas City
• Help children develop language and literacy skills vital to success in school and life
• Connect with a team of 4,300 Corps members committed to social change
• Receive professional training in leadership, early childhood education, and civic engagement
• Have the opportunity to join AmeriCorps and earn an education award of $1,195 to pay for tuition, loans, or books (upon completion of a 300-hour service term)
• Develop leadership skills and gain valuable experience to prepare for life after college
