When: April 08, 2016
Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Location: UMKC Student Union, Room 401BC

The UMKC community is invited to be part of the search process for the next president of the University of Missouri System (UM System).  The presidential search committee will hold an open forum at UMKC on April 8 to give the UMKC community the opportunity to provide input on the proposed characteristics and desired qualifications sought in the next UM System president.  The search firm and search committee will use this input to develop a qualifications statement for use in recruiting and selecting candidates for the position.

Students are encouraged to participate in the open forum so the committee may gather perspectives from the entire university community, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees.

The forum will be livestreamed with a live link and final recording to be posted on the presidential search website at https://www.umsystem.edu/ps/.  No registration is required.  For those who cannot attend the forum and would like to provide input on desired candidate characteristics and qualifications, comments may be submitted by email to mailto:umpresidentialsearch@umsystem.edu no later than April 8.
