ALAS Leadership Conference- April 6-7
The Association of Latin American Students (ALAS) at the University of Missouri – Kansas City would like to invite you to the ALAS First Regional Leadership Conference at the UMKC Student Union on April 6 & 7, 2012. The conference will begin on Friday, April 6 from 6 – 10 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, April 7 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Our goal for those attending this conference is to not only gain knowledge, skills, and abilities related to professionalism and leadership, but also for it to be an experience that empowers and inspires you to strive for your personal best and achieve your dreams. The conference will include: Nationally recognized Latino speakers, workshops that offer personal, professional, and leadership development, a cultural fiesta and performances showcasing traditions of Latin American music and dance, networking opportunities, and more.
The registration fee is $10 per person, $5 for UMKC students. Dress for the conference will be business casual.
