Sidewalk and Curbcut Improvements
Curbs, sidewalks and crosswalks ADA repairs are scheduled for areas on the Volker Campus starting mid-June and running through Aug. 12.
The work includes the demolition and removal of existing curb and gutter; and installation and improvement to curb, pavement and sidewalks.
The five locations are:
- Intersection of Cherry Street and Bixby Lane
- Intersection of Cherry Street and 51st Street
- Intersection of Cherry Street and 52nd Street
- South side of 50th Street between Rockhill Road and Troost Avenue
- 51st Street between Holmes Street and Rockhill Road
Temporary lane and sidewalk closures and or/detours should be expected during this time. The contractor will provide for and maintain access to all facilities throughout the duration of construction, and will provide traffic control, signage and fencing as necessary.
