Fall 2014 Phi Kappa Phi Initiation

pkp-chapter-of-meritThe UMKC Phi Kappa Phi Chapter of Merit (#103) held its fall initiation ceremony on Nov. 9 at 2 p. m. in the E.E. Thompson Courtroom in the UMKC School of Law.

The mission of Phi Kappa Phi: “To recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.”

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Under the leadership of Dr. Charles J. Wurrey and Professor Barbara Glesner-Fines, UMKC’s Phi Kappa Phi Chapter #103 is a 2014 Chapter of Merit, putting our organization in the top 10% if 300 global chapters.
