Online File Storage and Backup

Outlook Live, which is the server used for UMKC student e-mail, is equipped with several tools to help make your life easier. One huge tool to take advantage of is the SkyDrive. This is a password-protected 25 GB online storage space that allows you to store documents or photos and access them from any computer. It is very simple to use and allows you to create and upload files in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. To use it, log onto your Outlook Live e-mail account, then at the top click “More” and “SkyDrive.” Every file you upload can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet. This is a great tool to use- especially since computers and flashdrives aren’t always reliable!
