Mandatory Title IX Training

Title IXYou may be wondering about the Mandatory Title IX training that all students are being asked to complete.  Colleges and Universities must comply with the Federal Campus SaVE Act, which is an update to the Clery Act and expands the scope of this legislation in terms of reporting, response, and prevention education requirements around rape, acquaintance rape, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

UMKC is providing our students with an interactive, video-based training program that meets all federal requirements, called “Not Anymore.”  In order to encourage all students to educate themselves about violence prevention and the resources available, a soft hold has been placed on student accounts in Pathway, which will be removed once a student successfully completes the program.  Log-on to “Not Anymore through the UMKC portal here:

It is our goal to provide a comprehensive training program that will make our campus community aware of sexual violence and how to prevent it.  More information about the Violence Prevention and Response Project at UMKC can be found here:  More information about UMKC’s Title IX compliance can be found here:

Thank you for your assistance in ensuring UMKC is a safe campus for all!
