The 2013 Kansas City Marathon is coming to your neighborhood!  The 26.2 mile race will take place on Saturday, October 19, between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.  Traffic delays can be expected during this time.

The Kansas City Police Department will provide appropriate traffic control during the race to allow safe travel for you and the participants. Volunteers and police will be on hand to help direct traffic to designated “crossing” streets.

This event would not be possible without the help of volunteers!  Cheer on the participants coming through your neighborhood by serving as a course monitor!

All volunteers who register for and fulfill their commitment as a course monitor will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 1 Southwest Airlines ticket voucher.  The round trip voucher expires February 1, 2015.  Please note this drawing is only applicable to course monitor volunteers.
