The Marketing Summer Internship position is intended to provide an opportunity for a currently enrolled college student to gather knowledge of marketing from a construction company perspective through proposals. This position will involve learning about solicitation and proposal development processes, while also touching on graphic design, our Cosential database, and communications. We offer hands-on experience to leverage your classroom knowledge and convert it into professional skills. Successful internships often lead to full-time positions after graduation. The marketing internship is a full-time position over a three-month period.

Communications Intern-City of Shawnee, KS

Under the supervision of the Communications Manager, this internship opportunity will serve as a training ground for college level students enrolled in a journalism, business or public administration program with an emphasis or concentration in Communications or Public Relations. The employee performs skilled and semi-skilled activities assigned by the Communications Manager. Attempts will be made to make assignments that will broaden the employee’s experience and benefit the City organization. This employee should possess strong communication, writing, organizational, social media and public relations skills. Pay range for this position will begin at $14.50 per hour.Position Responsibilities

City Administration Internship Program

The City of North Kansas City – City Administration Internship Program provides a unique benefit to the City and prospective student interns. The Human Resources internship is an 10-week paid internship without benefits that allows you to work part-time 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday with Friday’s off. Internship Summary
Sporting Kansas City’s Event Sales and Experience Intern holds a temporary position within the company, with an emphasis on educational training and gathering practical experience in their field of specialization for a professional sports organization.  The Intern will gain valuable experience working with the Sales and Experience Team, collaborating in an environment full of learning opportunities designed to help all interns evolve their capabilities, challenge their strengths, and reach their fullest potential.   The Event Sales & Experience Intern will assist the events & experience team in developing relationships, supporting the team in selling non-match day events such as run/walks, weddings, proms, holiday parties and fundraising/galas and assisting with building the tour program. This is an unpaid, educational internship opportunity. The intern must be receiving college credit for their time spent interning with Sporting Kansas City. The Event Sales Intern will identify one educational project and will focus on and take ownership of the project throughout the internship. The project will benefit the growth of the department and allow the intern to “make their mark”.
