Job Summary

The Marketing and Group Sales Intern provides administrative support for the marketing and sales team, prints tickets for group sales, books and manages birthday party groups, assists marketing in special events & promotions when required, and does daily in-park research surveys.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Answers group and consignment related inquiries.
• Sells and books group birthday party packages.
• Prints, packs and distributes all group sales related materials.
• Processes group sales payments.
• Assists in tracking consignment account performance on a monthly basis.
• Serves at the point of contact between group sales and front gate staff.
• Tracks cabana reservations and producing/distributing daily reports.
• Assists in preparing and executing special events.
• Makes guest service and satisfaction a priority in every aspect.
• Produces video and photography for social media.
• Assists in the distribution of marketing related couponing and brochure material.
• Implements the guest/market research survey program.
• Produces monthly survey reports.
• Assists in producing and proofing email marketing messages.
• Produces monthly email marketing reports.
• Produces monthly web analytic reports.
• Assists in media remote appearances.
• Updates public relations list.
• Assists with the public relations calendar and releases.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Sales.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.
• Must be pursuing a BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work well under pressure.-
• Highly organized, having ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a multi-faceted scope of responsibility.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of working in a hot and humid environment outdoors.
• Able to sit, stand, climb stairs and walk for long periods of time.
• Must frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Salary: $9.25 /hour

Required education:
