The USSSA Midwest Media intern will have a hands-on learning experience and will acquire a wide variety of skill sets required for a career in sports broadcasting, media, or journalism. Interns will learn the entire story telling process, including writing, filming, interviewing, reporting, editing, producing, live streaming, and posting content to several websites and social media platforms. On the weekends, interns will assist filming softball, baseball, and basketball games and will post to social media about the events. During the week interns will assist production of USSSA Midwest News and other promotional videos. A flexible schedule on the weekend and/or Monday through Wednesday is required.
