Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our Animal Health Marketing department located at our St Joseph, MO facility. As a Marketing Intern, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive experience utilizing PowerPoint, Word and Excel. You should have an interest in the agricultural or animal health industry and have some marketing or sales experience. While working as a Marketing intern you will work closely with the marketing and technical veterinary team in the preparation and delivery of various marketing tactics, projects and conferences to support the strategic marketing plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Assist marketing managers with specific tactical projects as required
·         Assist marketing team with organization and management of relevant conferences & conference materials
·         Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
·         Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
·         Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials
·         Prepare presentations
·         Assist in the development and delivery of marketing materials
Requirements:

·         Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
·         Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
·         Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
·         Major must be related to the field of internship.

·         Organizational and project management skills
·         The ability to prioritize in a changing environment
·         Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills required
·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·         Marketing background or education preferred
·         Agricultural / animal health industry knowledge or experience preferred

Eligibility Requirements:
·         Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
·         Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
·         Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
·         Must be 18 years of age or older
