This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in video editing.

The Video Editor Intern (Remote) for the Pearson LiveLessons video program would edit recorded screencast and studio footage with green screen to create a video training product. This internship is project based and would come to a completion with the submission of the final files for publication.

The intern will work with Pearson’s Video Editors to learn our brand standards for editing the Pearson LiveLessons series. Specially, the intern would edit in Adobe After Effects to create animated visual graphics for segment openers along with edits in Adobe Premiere to edit recorded video trainings from screencasts and/or studio shoots.

The editing process involves three to four rounds of editing. Editing rounds incorporate feedback from a cross-functional team comprised of the author, development editor and product manager for the assigned product. The video editor intern incorporates changes into successive edits to work towards a completed product. By the end of the project-based internship, the intern would have a product to showcase in their portfolio that they edited in the Adobe workflow from raw files to publication.
