These discussions will be held via webinar and conference call to provide orientation regarding the website and utilizing Google platform features (intranet, message board/chat, file sharing, calendar), tutorials regarding Facebook and Twitter administration, and review of recently completed RHEC materials (health equity report card, cultural competency resource guide/white paper, fact sheets). If appropriate, Twitter training may be provided with specific emphasis on Twitter Chats, Twitter Storms, Thunderclaps, Twitter After Parties, and other ways Twitter can be used to promote an RHEC’s activities, mission, and goals.

What special equipment will be available to the student?

Students will be asked to maintain a virtual office (i.e. laptop, phone) in order to access the Google platform (RHEC website, intranet, message board, email, file sharing), to review RHEC-related products (environmental scans, infographics, slide decks, regional blueprints), and handle Facebook and Twitter administration tasks.
