AMELIO Media is a small production company specializing in small business promotional videos and most recently, documentaries.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about film and various documentary genres.

 We have just relocated to the Kansas City area but will have several promotional video projects in the near future. We need assistance with filming, producing, editing and social media.

The USSSA Midwest Media intern

The USSSA Midwest Media intern will have a hands-on learning experience and will acquire a wide variety of skill sets required for a career in sports broadcasting, media, or journalism. Interns will learn the entire story telling process, including writing, filming, interviewing, reporting, editing, producing, live streaming, and posting content to several websites and social media platforms. On the weekends, interns will assist filming softball, baseball, and basketball games and will post to social media about the events. During the week interns will assist production of USSSA Midwest News and other promotional videos. A flexible schedule on the weekend and/or Monday through Wednesday is required. • Applicants should be well versed in the basics of production and content development.

• Applicants for this position must be organized and detail oriented.

• Development duties will include research, developing television concepts, organization,

team brainstorming and creative input.

• Production duties will include mentoring as a production assistant on set, running errands

and general studio upkeep.

• Post duties will include logging footage.
