Education interns will facilitate the museum’s summer program series, which explores various aspects of the collection through tours, workshops, and gallery presentations. Interns will gain meaningful professional experience in museum education by delivering public programs and leading pre-structured, hands-on workshops. The education intern team will also work collaboratively to create a new program that will be presented at the end of the summer session. Each intern will help facilitate three 90-minute art workshops for artists with developmental disabilities. Additionally, interns will complete readings and participate in weekly discussions about the museum field and museum education.  The Video Production Intern will assist in all aspects of creating content for in-game entertainment for the Kansas City Royals.  This includes shooting and editing video, creating motion graphics and being involved with game day production.  Candidates should be able to use professional audio/video equipment and have experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.  The internship offers the opportunity to experience all facets of production and work closely with the Event Presentation and Production department. This is a seasonal paid internship.
