Primary Purpose:
The Black & Veatch Summer Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students: 1) experience in a working environment; 2) meaningful work assignments; 3) introduction to Black & Veatch corporate culture; 4) chance to network with experience

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will provide support to Talent Acquisition within Corporate Human Resources not limited to Talent Acquisition Operations and College Recruiting teams. The intern will gain exposure to aspects of recruitment activities, marketing, event coordination, data analysis, enhancement of Black & Veatch Internship program and overall recruiting strategy.
• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Maintains confidentiality while working with sensitive data.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Assist with College Recruiting related tasks/functions
•Assist in creation/execution of communication plans/campaigns.
•Assist with social media presence/conduct social media channel research
•Assist with coordination of internship program
•Other Human Resources –related tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment in accredited university in appropriate degreed program for position; Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business degree. No experience required.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communications skills. Data analysis skills. Initiative, self starter, highly motivated, high attention to detail, interpersonal skills, mathematical skills, problem solving skills and computer skills. Knowledge and familiarity of social media channels. Experience or working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) or Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Microsoft Excel experience a plus.
