Do you thrive in fast-paced startup environments? Spigot is looking for a multi-faceted, hard-working team member to join our Kansas City team for a 3+ month paid internship. You will be responsible for the management of the SEO and social media marketing strategies for our own and operated properties. You will also assist in the day to day website operations and act as a moderator for the users.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and implement SEO best practices
- Manage Social Media community through commenting, sharing and engaging with client audience.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and analyze competitor web content and keyword strategies
- Create relevant pop culture quizzes and content
Minimum Qualifications
Interested candidates will be ready to contribute on day one with the ability to work hard and learn quickly. We are seeking a student or recent graduate in an undergraduate in Digital Media, Internet Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Communication or an equivalent academic field. Candidates must possess strong technical, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
A background in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and/or Social media marketing is preferred.
