Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accurately and timely process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities including but not limited to staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, employee relations, diversity, compensation, and benefits.
  • Accurately record data for each employee and/or applicant, including such information as addresses, pay, performance, location, benefits, and dates of and reasons for changes of status, etc
  • Respond to routine questions on human resources policies and procedures.
  • Process employment applications and help generate appropriate correspondence to applicants.
  • Maintain and examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and recruiting materials
  • Assists in new hire orientation
  • Support the HR team with administrative duties, such as reports and documentation.
  • Schedule interviews with applicants
  • Greets and directs interview applicants to appropriate location.
  • Schedule orientations for new hires
  • Order office supplies for the staff
  • Distribute mail and paychecks
  • Maintain Human Resources bulletin boards
  • Schedule catering for events and/or meetings and help prepare the conference room
  • Process background checks
  • Update or develop log reports as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in all MS Office products: Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Strong research skills are a must. Must have the ability to communicate in writing concisely and clearly.

 

Required Experience

Undergraduate majoring in: Business Adminstration, Business Management, Human Resources Management, or related degree.
