Established and rapidly growing Kansas City firm is seeking a talented copy writing intern for website marketing and advertising . This summer the internship will be focused on website content, blogs, press releases, and white papers. While this intern will be given guidance for marketing projects, this person is one who enjoys an independent work style, is inquisitive, demonstrates a self –starter energy, and one who is eager to see results from their contribution through growth of the business. THIS INTERNSHIP POSITION COULD CONTINUE INTO PART TIME HOURS in the Fall.
The intern will earn a $1000 bonus at the completion of the 2.5 month internship.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and compose category descriptions
- Professional profiles composed for up to 50 experts
- Develop white paper plan; initiate content with experts; edit and publish on line
- Research and create weekly blogs
- Work with website company to make changes to site
- Some power point presentation designed/developed for webinars
Job Requirements
- Excellent writing skills ( an example will be required)
- A. in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Advertising (minimum of 2 years toward degree)
- Minimum GPA 3.25
- Social Media talent
- Fool proof editing
- Professional style of speaking and writing
- Flexible hours
- Independent contractor
