KMBC’s internship program is a learning opportunity for students
KMBC’s internship program is a non-paid workplace learning opportunity for students enrolled in a college or university.
Students selected to intern at KMBC must be enrolled in school and receive course credit for the learning experience. Internship positions are for one semester in the areas of news, weather, digital media and creative services. The goal of the internship is to enhance the student’s general understanding of the broadcast television business and support the desire to further pursue a career in television broadcasting.
