435 Magazine offers three-month, part-time internships in our Overland Park office for those seeking to gain magazine experience. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, creative person with strong writing skills, an outgoing personality and an eagerness to learn.

This person will work closely with the sales and marketing team assisting with marketing initiatives, promotions, events, sponsorships and communications for the magazine. This person will also help draft sponsorship proposals, attend staff, editorial and sales meetings and learn the ins and outs of sales and marketing.

This internship provides a professional environment that allows interns to work side-by-side with an award-winning editorial and sales staff and witness the behind-the-scenes processes of the magazine publishing business while providing assistance to the sales staff.

Please note that we can only accept applicants who are enrolled in an educational institution where they will receive school credit for completing an internship.

We offer an honorarium of $250/per month.
