<2018 Internship Program – Copywriter GlynnDevins Advertising and Marketing is a full-service advertising agency specializing in Senior Living marketing in Kansas City, MO, with expertise in communicating to the mature market. We’re looking for candidates for a full-time paid copywriter internship in the Creative Department. We empower people at all levels to breed pride of ownership. We get excited when we solve a problem. We love to win. We like each other. We have fun at work. Internship Description: We’re looking for candidates for summer 2018. We’ll also keep qualified applicants on file for winter 2018 and/or summer 2019 internships. What we want you to be: Insatiably curious. You don’t need prior experience; you do have to be able to offer ideas and write well. Ad writing is more than clever headlines or turns of phrase; the samples you submit should show us you understand that. What you’ll do while you’re here: Work with actual creative directors, art directors, fellow copywriters, digital folks and client service types. You’ll be asked to join in on meetings and concepting sessions. We’ll never ask you to go fetch us coffee – because if you’re smart and ambitious, you’ll be too busy working on deadline, right alongside us. What you’ll get out of this experience: You’ll get your feet wet in the agency world. You’ll walk out of here with samples of real-world client work that you helped bring to life. In other words, you’ll build your book. And with a solid book, oh the places you’ll go. What we need from you to be considered: An honest-to-goodness resume and well-written cover letter (impress us), along with a few writing samples you’re proud of. The summer 2018 session will have flexible start and end dates to work with candidates’ schedules, though desired start date would be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Our normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer hours may provide the opportunity for a half-day Friday. Deliverables – to be submitted with your application:
