The Missouri Attorney General’s Office is seeking highly motivated, responsible law students who are committed to public service and are interested in serving as a paid summer intern/extern. The Office has several summer openings in its Jefferson City, Kansas City, and St. Louis offices. Preference is given to those candidates who are in the top 30% of their class. The Missouri Attorney General’s Summer Intern Program offers students a unique opportunity to learn how to practice in many areas of the law including criminal prosecutions, consumer protection enforcement actions, environmental litigation, debt collection, bankruptcy, worker’s compensation, appellate, employment, constitutional law, and defense. The interns will work 40 hours a week (including nights and weekends) covering breaking sports news, events and enterprise stories. We’re looking for reporters who can spot a good sports story and know how to write it.
Video and social media skills also are a must. Past newsroom internship experience preferred.
Journalism Internship- The Northeast News
The opportunity is a paid internship, working in our office roughly
15-20 hours per week and would involve actual reporting assignments
for the paper on a daily and weekly basis. Additionally, experience in
digital editing and and web experience would be helpful as this is an
area we’ll be growing soon.
