First Impressions Troost Park

The BMA Tower, now known as the One Park Place luxury condominiums is currently located at 700 W. 31st Kansas City, MO 64108. These condos are place at one of the highest points in the city giving it amazing views of downtown. The BMA Tower has 19 stories with 108 units. This modern high-rise was once articulated with a white marble clad frame. But was replaced with white glass, the recessed black window panels add a beautiful contrast to the building. I decided to relocate the BMA Tower to 2801 Troost Ave, which is owned by the School District of Kansas City.  There is currently a 3 story apartment building on the northeast corner of the same block. I think this high-rise will attract more visitors to the area thus making the neighborhood more lively. 

This is a medium multi-family development is currently located at 4429 Holly St Kansas City, MO 64111. Plaza La Belle is a boutique style apartments/townhomes near the Country Club Plaza. Which were recently renovated. I loved the feature of the shared courtyard very similar to California style architecture. I thought the site adjacent to the park owned by the School District of Kansas City, 2831 Forest Ave would be a perfect spot for these apartments. Ideally if the BMA Tower was on the site adjacent to it I think they would compliment each other. The building is developed at 34 dwelling units per acre, making it a medium development.

This is a small single family development originally located at 2121 Jarboe St Kansas City, MO 64108. The house currently sits on 10,597 sq.ft. This is developed at 4 dwelling units per acre, making it a small development. I decided to relocate this home at 2836 Paseo which over looks Troost Lake.
