The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as editing abilities. Must be organized and possess the ability to multi-task. Education Requirements:

  • Must have completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or related degree program by May 2018.
  • Must be able to work full time for 9-12 weeks during the summer of 2018 and return back to school on completion of assignment.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
  • Strong writing and editing abilities
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad
  • Ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and also as part of a team

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Design skills are a plus
