The Communications Intern will support the Communications Team in both internal and external communications relating to the U.S. commercial business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as editing abilities. Must be organized and possess the ability to multi-task. Education Requirements:
- Must have completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or related degree program by May 2018.
- Must be able to work full time for 9-12 weeks during the summer of 2018 and return back to school on completion of assignment.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrated interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad
- Ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently and also as part of a team
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of AP style
- Design skills are a plus
