Hello everyone! My name is Patsy Campos. I am a freshman at UMKC and I am a work study at the Women’s Center. I chose to work at the Women’s Center because I want to be part of many events that will support women. There are many events that will take place this year. Our next big event is Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, the International Men’s March to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. It will be Tuesday, September 22 at 5:30pm on the UMKC campus. It should be a success in the community. Anybody is welcome to this event and men are invited to walk a mile in her shoes.
