Women’s Center Support and Resources
Lactation Room
We have a cozy, private lactation room with designated fridge for breast milk storage. Students also use this room as a meditation space, a private area for zoom classes, telehealth, or studying.
Conference Room
Our conference room comes with Wi-fi and Zoom capabilities. It is an ideal meeting space for student organizations, clubs, staff meetings, or a hangout and study area with friends. Contact us to reserve your time or drop in as needed.
Feminist Library
You can find a specially curated library in the center. Need a book about the women’s movement? Interested in exploring gender issues? if you need a specific text for a class or just want to read something that focuses on intersectional experiences, you are welcome to check out our many texts. See the library catalog or come by the Women’s Center in 105 Haag Hall to pick one up. The loan period for all books and materials is eight weeks.
Campus and Community Resources
The Women’s Center is a great place to find extensive resources both on-campus and out in the great Kansas City community. Along with our resource guides, you can also find free safe sex materials and free menstrual products.
