Festival Rules

We expect participants who are selected to participate in the Midwest Honor Band Festival to represent themselves and their school in an appropriate manner at all times. Other events are taking place on campus during this weekend, so participants must be respectful and quiet in the hallways and throughout the buildings.

Participants are required to attend all rehearsals, concerts, clinics, and scheduled activities. Participants must cooperate with the supervisory requests of the chaperones and festival staff. Any participant who fails to cooperate will be sent home immediately at their own expense.

Phones, games, and other similar devices are not allowed during rehearsals or concerts.

Alcoholic beverages, drugs, smoking and vaping are not permitted. There will be a zero-tolerance policy with these infractions; any student caught with these substances will be dismissed from the Festival and reported to the proper authorities.
