Program check-in for all participants (except percussion) will take place at Grant Hall (5228 Charlotte St, Kansas City, MO) in the roman bath area of the building. To access this part of the building, enter through the east side doors across from the Rockhill Parking Garage. We have reserved levels 4 and 5 of the Rockhill Parking Garage from 11am-4pm for parking during auditions. Participants are to check in according to last name. During check-in, each participant will receive a t-shirt, name tag, and final schedule. Auditions will follow check-in, there will be signs and staff members to direct students to the appropriate audition rooms. For more information on auditions, please visit our Auditions Page.
Please arrive during your assigned check-in in order to allow participants ample travel time to Kansas City and reduce congestion at Friday’s check-in tables.
Once students have checked-in, students will be directed to a group warm-up room. Room proctors will monitor each warm-up room.
After students have auditioned, they need to be back on campus for the orientation meeting at 6:00pm. Note: After auditions have concluded, there are no chaperones provided until the orientation meeting so please plan accordingly.
Percussionists are to check in at the lobby of the James C. Olson Performing Arts Center (4949 Cherry St, Kansas City, MO). Participants are to check in according to last name.
