Hello! My name is Maritza Gordillo and I am excited to be joining the Women’s Center once again. I am a senior double majoring in Sociology and Spanish with a minor in Latina/Latino Studies. I enjoy working for the Women’s Center and the Violence Prevention & Response offices because I aspire to become a social worker and work with victims of domestic violence. Working here in the past has helped me tremendously, gaining experience planning events to educate our school and our community.
In my spare time I love to hang out with my friends and spend time with my family. Overall I am very happy to be a part of this great, hardworking team that has not only helped me when going through rough times, but has continued to help our school and our community by advocating and educating for women’s equity. I am eager to be of great contribution to the Women’s Center and continue to learn from the staff and community.
