I am very excited to join the staff of the Women’s Center as the Graduate Assistant for
Programming. I look foward to reaching out to the campus and community to help increase awareness on women’s issues. I am currently a graduate student at the Conservatory, working on a master’s in musicology, and I have a strong interest in gender issues connected to music – including exposing the works of American women composers. I anticipate completing my degree in 2014, and then pursuing my PhD at KU. In addition to my coursework, I am a wife, mother of a beautiful daughter, and teach voice lessons.
