Interesting that we now have a fourth wave when there are still so many young third wavers out there. I’m curious – what do other people think about the fourth wave? How do you identify yourself?
I think Siegel is right on with her comments about how no matter what the wave, we need to keep the main goals and achievements of the overarching role of feminism in sight and work together. One of the comments that came up at the recent panel (WomenGirlsLadies – mentioned in Siegel’s blog) hosted by the Women’s Center was the fact that regardless of our generation, we need to ditch the in-fighting and collaborate in order to be more powerful as a gender and as feminists.
