Dr. Stevens graduated with a DDS degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry and was in private practice in Turkey until 2001.

She later received a Certificate from the International Advanced Study Program in Prosthodontics and attained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research from NYU College of Dentistry. During her time there, Dr. Stevens completed a residency in prosthodontics and received the Excellence in Prosthodontics Teaching Award.

She received her second DDS degree ant UMKC School of Dentistry and joined the UMKC Dental Faculty Practice in 2013.

Currently, Dr. Stevens is a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Restorative Clinical Sciences at UMKC and specializes in Prosthodontics.

She maintains memberships in the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) and the American Dental Education Association.

Practicing dentistry brings out Dr. Stevens’s artistic side as she rejuvenates her patients’ smiles by improving the function and appearance of their teeth. Her goal is to ensure that her patients enjoy natural-looking and functioning smiles when she has completed their treatment. Nothing makes Dr. Stevens happier than seeing a patient’s happy, satisfied, and beautiful smile.

Dr. Stevens is fluent in Turkish. During her leisure time she enjoys traveling with her husband and cooking.
