A Kansas City native born and raised, Kara Gibson is a pianist, harpist, wife, and mother of two. She completed her BA in Music with an emphasis in harp from Midamerica Nazarene University in 2013, and a MA in Music Education from Liberty University in 2019. During her graduate studies she developed a harp curriculum for young beginners entitled “When Fingers Meet Strings,” which was published early in 2020. When she isn’t busy teaching or accompanying, she enjoys cooking, quilting, or just spending time with her family.
