CAEL/AL360 Evaluation 2022-2023

Focus Areas: Adult Learners, Postsecondary Education

This evaluation brings regional institutions together to set goals for serving adult learners.

The Adult Learner 360 (AL360), created by the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL), is an assessment system designed to help institutions evaluate how well they are serving adult learners. The assessment system includes an adult learner survey an institutional survey. Upon completion of the surveys, each institution receives a report that summarizes their results and provides suggestions for improvement. The report utilizes CAEL’s ten adult learner 360 principles to frame the results.

For this project, UERC is partnering with eight regional institutions to help them analyze their AL360 data and set institutional goals. The evaluation process includes individual and regional goal-setting that will be reviewed on a bi-annual basis. The evaluation is conducted in collaboration with CAEL and the KC Scholars Postsecondary Network and is funded by The DeBruce Foundation.
