Engage

Engage is a prevention program designed to address violence and harm in our campus community. This program aims to empower individuals to be engaged community members, who recognize and respond to potentially harmful situations. Engage addresses the intersectional nature of prevention—focusing on alcohol and other substance misuse, mental well-being, bias and discrimination, and interpersonal violence.

As a multi-level prevention program, Engage has the following training modules:

  • Engage Online Introductory Training
  • Engage Overview Training (briefly covers all four intersectional topics)
  • Engage Deeper Dive Training: Mental Well-Being
  • Engage Deeper Dive Training: Alcohol and Other Substance Misuse
  • Engage Deeper Dive Training: Interpersonal Violence
  • Engage Deeper Dive Training: Issues of Bias and Discrimination
