Kailey Campbell


About

Kailey Campbell is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from UMKC in 2018 and her Master of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Iowa in 2021. During her graduate studies, she served as a teaching assistant, supervising music therapy practicum students in a variety of clinical settings. Kailey currently works with children and adolescents in a therapeutic day school, where she uses music experiences to promote emotion regulation, attention, impulse control, academic music concepts, and self-esteem. She also works with adults in behavioral health acute care at University Health, where the primary goals are stabilization, developing coping skills, and providing opportunities for self-expression through music. Her professional areas of interest include mental health, trauma-informed care, social justice, and contributing to the body of music therapy research.
