Abigail Foehrkolb began her formal percussion education at age 12, though she spent many years tapping out rhythms with pencils on her desk before then.  She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, before attending DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where she recently earned her bachelor’s degree in percussion performance.  Abby is now continuing her education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory and serving as the percussion teaching assistant.  Abby has a passion for teaching music to students of all ages and abilities, and she hopes to welcome more future-musicians into the art for many years to come.
