Fundraising Leadership and Tools Series

The Fundraising Leadership Series provides development professionals with essential leadership skills to be a strategic leader in their organization. The unique design of this series, co-created with nonprofit leaders, recognizes the central role of development in a nonprofit’s culture, strategy, and communications. Participants will engage with other development professionals in an interactive program that builds their capacity as organizational leaders and changemakers.

Upon completion, development professionals will have applied experience in their organization’s context with critical leadership tools. Additionally, they will exhibit the capacity to better lead strategic development operations in nonprofit organizations.

The new Fundraising Tools Series sessions will utilize pre-recorded content presentations along with an interactive live Zoom session so participants can learn and build their fundraising development skills. The Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership and The Nonprofit Quarterly co-host the biennial governance conference in Kansas City, and partner with the Governance Section of ARNOVA and the Alliance for Nonprofit Management. This unique two-day conference offers an engaging and highly participative venue for attendees to expand their perspectives on nonprofit boards and governance and explore avenues for a new generation of research and practice. The conference affords exceptional opportunities for formal and informal dialogue among the consultants, executives, and academics who are most engaged in addressing nonprofit governance issues and challenges.
