Endorsements from students:

“I’ve been taking private lessons through the Academy for over a year now, and I wanted to highlight Jim Lammers as an instructor. Jim has been a great instructor, always willing to listen, answer questions, never getting frustrated, and being extremely patient with technique, practice, and scheduling. Jim has always been eager to address any specific questions I have, and always leaves room for comprehension and clarification when we’re practicing. Additionally, Jim has been very flexible during this COVID-19 era and has gone above and beyond in making sure I can still have quality lesson time. Having had a couple of poor instructors in the past (not from UMKC) I just wanted to take a moment to make sure that Jim’s superb instruction is recognized – As a new music student it was incredibly fulfilling to be introduced to playing by such a great instructor.” – Patrick Kuny, current student
