New Faculty Institute for Teaching Inclusive Curricula Application Extension: May 30


Faculty Institute for Teaching Inclusive Curricula applications will now be due May 30 and awardees will be notified by June 15. Applications can be submitted by full or part-time faculty members who can participate in the next four institute workshops, complete submission of all materials and present their infused curriculum in their classroom Spring Semester 2021.

Workshop topics and dates are Self-Assessment, Bias Impact on Curriculum; and Orientation, Process and Strategies, Aug. 19; Book Discussion and Activities, Sept. 17; Presentation of Initial Draft of Curriculum Revision and Constructive Feedback, Oct. 14; and Final Presentation: Revised Syllabus, Classroom Implementation Experience/Outcomes and Personal Reflections, May 13, 2021.

Applicants must be available to attend all four workshops to receive the $750 stipend. Applications are due May 30. Faculty awardees will be notified by June 15. Awardees must confirm participation by June 30. Please submit application with course syllabus to be revised by May 30 to Makini King, Application details are available online.
