Did the ghost of a dead actress haunt the University Playhouse? Why are there monsters painted on the walls of Haag Hall? Who killed University of Kansas City beauty queen Leila Welsh? What really happened in Epperson House? On the haunted UMKC campus tour, your host Chris Wolff, UMKC historian and author of the latest UMKC history book, will regale you with these and many more tales of the darker side of the university’s history.
The tour takes about 90 minutes and is a one mile long walking tour. Please wear comfortable shoes. The tour will be capped at 15 people so RSVP early.
The tour will meet at the south entrance of Atterbury Student Success Center. Metered parking is available in the front lot of Atterbury Student Success Center at the north entrance.
