Paid and Volunteer Positions with Jumpstart

Hello,

My name is Ashley Huff, and I work for the Jumpstart program on campus at UMKC.  Jumpstart is a national nonprofit organization that trains college students and community volunteers to deliver a research-based curriculum to preschool children in low-income neighborhoods.  The program helps children develop the key language and literacy skills needed for school readiness, closing the achievement gap and setting them on a path of success.  We are currently recruiting 70 Corps Members (students and volunteers) to serve with our program this year.

If you would like to learn more about Jumpstart and potential service learning and/or internship opportunities, please feel free to contact me directly at huffal@umkc.edu<mailto:huffal@umkc.edu> or 816.235.6021.

Thank you,

Ashley
