The Writing Studio is accepting applications from UMKC undergraduate and graduate students for tutoring positions for the upcoming summer and fall semesters. The pay for these positions is $10 per hour.

Writing Studio tutor positions are highly competitive appointments that provide a limited number of UMKC students with unique learning, teaching, and professional experiences. In addition to working with hundreds of writers from a variety of disciplines each semester, tutors benefit from many other professional experiences, such as facilitating workshops, assisting with developing resources for UMKC’s writing community, collaborating with community partners on writing centered projects, and attending writing center conferences.

Application packets submitted by Monday, April 27 are guaranteed consideration for the first round of interviews.
