UMKC is challenging its students to help stop violence in Kansas City by walking in heels. Thursday night, the 6th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event took place in the Quad near 52nd and Rockhill Road. Hundreds of men marched in heels to raise awareness of rape and sexual assault.
