Kauffman Foundation pledges $3.2M for Legos, robotics programs

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation wants more students playing with Legos and robots. The foundation said Wednesday that it would provide a $3.2 million grant during the next five years to launch the KC STEM Alliance. Aimed at promoting science, technology, engineering and math, the alliance will be housed at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
