At the recent Graduation with Distinction luncheon at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, students and their families came together to celebrate academic success.  Damon Bryant, vice president of creative services at WDAF-TV FOX 4, served as the keynote speaker for the event.

Bryant is the recipient of numerous awards, including 30 regional Emmy nominations, 15 Emmy Awards, four Michigan Association of Broadcasters Awards, two Missouri Broadcasters Association Awards, the NBC Golden Peacock Award, and the Missouri State Teachers Association Award of Excellence.

Bryant received a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and an EMBA in May 2012 from UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Management.
