Todd joined the OSI staff in 2017 and is helping staff provide strategy for student involvement as a tool of retention and student success at UMKC.
Kari Jo Freudigmann
Assistant Director of LGBTQIA Programs and Services
Kari Jo started in the Assistant Director role in 2018 and serves as a resource for LGBTQIA students, faculty, and staff.
Assistant Director of New Student Programs
Kim joined the OSI staff in 2019, after serving in the UMKC Office of Admissions since 2016. In her role, Kim facilitates UMKC’s undergraduate, domestic New Student Orientation and Transition programs, including Spring and Summer Orientation and Week of Welcome. She also supports family programming on campus, overseeing the UMKC Family Weekend.
Coordinator for Student Activities
Anthony joined the staff in 2017, serving as the advisor to the Union Programming Board as well as the Rootopia (Concert) Committee. He also oversees the Student Organization event approval process and serves as the advisor to the campus chapter of ASUM.
Coordinator for Leadership and Student Organization Development
In her role, Yhanika is responsible for overseeing Student Organizations operations and finances, leadership development programming, booking student travel for UMKC sponsored events and co-advising the Student Activity Fee Council.
Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Affairs
Mary joined the staff in 2017 and advises our 13 chapter fraternity and sorority community.
Business Support Specialist
Kathleen serves as the Business Support Specialist for the Office of Student Involvement. In this position, she oversees and audits all organization accounts, maintaining a relationship with organization officers on budgets, as well as a resource for processes..
Graduate Assistant, Fraternity and Sorority Affairs
Lynne joined the staff in the fall of 2018 and assists in advising our 13 chapter fraternity and sorority community.
