In commitment to our strategic mission to embrace diversity,  and in response to the ongoing needs of our campus community, partners from across UMKC are developing a social justice conference with workshops ranging including bystander intervention training, a civic connections fair, and  know your rights sessions. The conference will provide our community with the tools necessary to engage in meaningful dialogue over challenging topics; to increase advocacy for self and others; to integrate cultural competence, inclusive pedagogy, and diversity not only into curriculum, but into our everyday lives as civically engaged members of an urban community.

We believe that our University community needs access to ongoing programming and all we need is your support! As a University, we work diligently to uphold the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in both academic and community settings, and a conference informed by best-practices from members across UMKC is an ideal platform for this crucial programming. Community Educators: $1,000:

• Exclusive sponsorship level
• Recognition at podium-sponsor will receive verbal acknowledgement of support by a speaker at conference; sponsors will be recognized on all conference advertisements, event materials, on conference webpage, and in all publicity: UMKC UMatters, UMKC UNews, and other local media

 Community Organizers: $750:

• Recognition on all conference materials, on conference webpage, and in publicity: UMKC UMatters, UMKC UNews, and other local media

  Community Advocates $500:

• Recognition on event print materials, and conference webpage

 Sustainable Supporter: $300:

• Recognition on event print materials, and conference webpage
